Open to all, Mother Natures Child - Growing Outdoors in the Media Age recalls when childhoods were full of free play outdoors and how this practice has virtually disappeared.   This fascinating film discusses a real and growing crisis in our country called nature-deficit disorder.    The effects of nature-deficit disorder are now being noted across the country in epidemics of childhood obesity, attention disorders, and depression.  Dont miss this important film about the powerful role nature plays in the health of your child and what you can do locally to reconnect your children with the natural world.
