Join Christine Peyreigne a licensed falconer, wildlife rehabilitator for migratory birds and an educator with raptors and reptiles. She rescues injured raptors, rehabilitates and releases those that are able to be released, or finds educational facilities for those deemed non-releasable due to their injuries.
Christine will have on hand some of the creatures she is currently working with. This is a great adventure for the entire family, children and adults will love to hear the stories of Christine's rescues and the demonstration of the animals she provides homes for.
Terrain: Easy
Dress: Sturdy shoes, protections from deer ticks which are present at this time of year, sunscreen and insect repellent.
Location: Trout Brook Valley Preserve, Bradley Road Entrance (Map).
Parking: Follow Valley Forge Road north from its junction with Lyons Plain Road, or south from its junction with Newtown Turnpike. Turn onto Bradley Road and follow to the end. The gate will be open and you will be directed to the Permit Parking area.
