Join us and our co-host the Connecticut Land Conservation Council to visit land conservation success stories made possible by the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection’s Open Space & Watershed Land Acquisition Program (OSWA) - funded by the Community Investment Act - and other local investments.

One of these "success stories" is Aspetuck Land Trust’s Belknap Preserve.  Acquired in 2017 and ….. Enjoy a fun, informal walk along the trail, officially opened in July of 2018 (inclement weather cancels unless otherwise noted), and talk with State legislators, other elected officials, land trust representatives, and community leaders. The event is free and open to land trust members and others interested in discussing our state, regional, and local conservation priorities.
