EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN. RESCHEDULED TO OCT 10. Planting Natives and the Green Corridor at NATIVE - a native plant nursery.

  • Native - A Plant Nursery 2940 Redding Road Fairfield, CT (map)

Join Mary Ellen Lemay, Bill Kenny, and Harry Spear, at NATIVE to enjoy an early evening and learn about the ways that you can make your backyard a stepping stone on the Green Corridor by increasing the diversity of wildlife, birds, pollinators, and plants in your gardens. Share some wine and cheese while enjoying a lovely autumn evening.

Bill Kenny, the owner of NATIVE - a native plant nursery, and Harry Spear, his right-hand man, share their mission to provide a wide diversity of healthy, superior quality, regionally native plants and to support the national movement of expanding ecologically critical native plant habitats with Mary Ellen Lemay and guests. The native habitats created will support our native wildlife while fostering an appreciation for the beauty of native plants.

Mary Ellen Lemay is the Homeowner Engagement Director of Aspetuck Land Trust. The Aspetuck Land Trust Green Corridor is an interconnected landscape linking open space and our backyards to safeguard wildlife, land, and water resources for the future generation.
