Join us at ALT Headquarters (65 Adams Rd, Easton) to learn about sustainable trail maintenance and building techniques.

Join with us and volunteer to help maintain our Trails! We cannot do what we do without you!! Whether it's giving a little care to the trail or building a brand new one, Aspetuck Land Trust's OWN and New England Mountain Bike Association’s trained leaders, Ryan Tucker, Kyaiera Mistretta-Tucker, and David Francefort will make sure that all who participate have a rewarding and enjoyable time making Aspetuck Land Trust trails better for everyone.

We guarantee that once you work on a section of trail, you'll remember it fondly each time you use it. The class size is limited.

Trail building and maintenance is manual labor. We'll be swinging pulaskis, digging in the dirt and moving rocks!

All participants will need to sign a Trail Care Waiver. (to be provided).

Here is the itinerary for this maintenance event:

Sat, 6/8
8:30am-8:45am - Registration / Signing waiver
8:45am - 12:00pm Class
12:00pm-12:45pm - Lunch (on us)
12:45pm-1:pm - Travel to Preserve
1pm-3pm - Hike to look for issues & possible solutions, flagging, and talking through techniques

Sun, 6/9
9am-12pm - Work Session at Preserve
