Jr. Ranger Program

Your child can become an ALT JR Ranger!
Our JR Ranger program is a great way to get outside and explore with your child. 
Parents can now check out our Jr. Ranger Explorer backpacks from the Children’s Departments at the following libraries: Westport, Fairfield (main and Fairfield Woods branch), Weston, Easton and Pequot. 
The backpacks contain fun tools like binoculars, plant and tree identification guides, magnifying lenses and bug containers to make exploring fun and exciting for you and your child. Also included in the backpacks are helpful hints for parents so you can lead your child on a fun and rewarding hike.

Each explorer backpack also contains a JR Ranger activity guide along with a copy of our 4 town map (both for you to keep, not shown in image above) so you can explore other Aspetuck Land Trust properties.
