Weston Preserves

Weston Wilton Forest Reserve

The Weston Wilton Forest Reserve is a long-term forest assemblage project protecting one of the last unfragmented forests in Weston and Wilton. To date, ALT has safeguarded 255 acres that connect to multiple other properties to form a 705-acre intact regional forest corridor. Since 2017, ALT has successfully protected 169 acres with critical funding from the State of CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection Open Space & Watershed Land Acquisition (OSWA) Program. Looking ahead, ALT plans to celebrate the Forest Reserve's grand opening in 2025, featuring two new parking lots and an extensive trail network. Stay tuned for updates!
